Run fat boy run!

John, one of our illustrious leaders, has completed his second ‘Two Castle’ run: the annual charity run between two of Warwickshire’s most historic landmarks.

More than 2,500 serious athletes and fun-runners completed the 10km race from Warwick Castle to Kenilworth Castle on Sunday 8th June, for which organisers hoped to raise over £50,000.

Despite the sweat and toil the time was not a personal best: at 1hr 55 seconds, three minutes more than last year. John said, “The beer belly has been officially noted. So now another avenue of happiness in my life has to come to an end.” Meanwhile Aled found an excuse for not running yet again… that’s three in a row now!

John will be participating in other charity runs over the next twelve months, so watch this space for details.
